NMDPL: Navbharat Mega Developers Pvt. Ltd. (NMDPL) is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) formed through a joint venture between the Government of Maharashtra and the Adani Group. It leads the Dharavi Redevelopment Project, aiming to transform one of Asia’s largest informal settlements into a modern urban hub with sustainable housing, infrastructure, and economic opportunities.
Job Purpose: The role is responsible for executing and overseeing tenant engagement initiatives, ensuring smooth interactions between tenants and stakeholders during redevelopment projects. This role involves supporting the role in securing tenant buy-in, managing grievances, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.
Rehabilitation Manager
Tenant Engagement and Communication:
Drive tenant engagement efforts by conducting information sessions, regular check-ins, and addressing tenant concerns related to redevelopment.
Implement communication strategies to ensure tenants understand their rights, timelines, and relocation processes.
Assist in developing engagement materials and coordinating outreach programs to enhance tenant participation in the redevelopment process.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Liaise with local committees, politicians, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth project execution and mitigate opposition.
Work closely with internal departments such as legal, architecture, and finance to align tenant affairs with broader redevelopment objectives.
Address tenant concerns proactively, ensuring a positive rapport between tenants and the redevelopment team.
Project Oversight and Compliance:
Ensure all tenant affairs activities comply with relevant redevelopment policies, legal frameworks, and DCPR guidelines.
Conduct regular audits and assessments of tenant-related processes to identify compliance gaps and address them efficiently.
Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tenant interactions, ensuring uniformity and adherence across projects.
Tenant Complaint Resolution:
Handle and resolve tenant grievances, escalating complex issues to the Lead - Tenant Affairs as needed.
Monitor complaint resolution timelines, ensuring timely action to maintain tenant confidence in the redevelopment process.
Organize periodic community meetings to collect feedback and address concerns, fostering transparency and trust.
Team and Performance Management:
Set performance targets for the tenant affairs team, ensuring alignment with redevelopment goals.
Monitor team performance in closing issues efficiently and implement corrective actions as needed.
Mentor and support the team in handling complex tenant-related challenges, fostering skill development and problem-solving abilities.
Evacuation and Rehabilitation Planning:
Develop and implement evacuation strategies to facilitate smooth tenant relocation.
Oversee rehabilitation efforts for displaced tenants, ensuring adequate support systems are in place for their reintegration.

Educational Qualification:
Any Graduate or Post Graduate degree, Preferably in Real Estate, Business Managment & Administration, Legal.
Work Experience (Range of years):
7-10 years
Preferred Industry:
Experience in tenant management, property coordination, legal, government, or customer-facing roles, with a focus on on-ground execution and customer service.
