ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Manager — Sales & Operations to drive both business growth and operational execution for our FTL (Full Truck Load) Dry & Reefer Transportation vertical in the respective region (Bangalore / Delhi / Kolkata). The role is responsible for acquiring new clients, managing key customer relationships, developing a strong vendor and transporter network, and ensuring seamless day-to-day execution of FTL operations.

The ideal candidate should have 5–8 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation, with a strong understanding of FTL Dry & Reefer operations, and a proven track record in both sales/business development and operations management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

■ SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

●      Drive new client acquisition and business development within the respective region.

●      Identify new market opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline for FTL Dry & Reefer transportation.

●      Drive revenue growth while ensuring seamless execution of operations.

●      Prepare and present business proposals, pricing, and service offerings to prospective clients.

■ OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

●      Manage end-to-end operations for FTL — Dry & Reefer transportation across the assigned region.

●      Ensure timely placement of vehicles, on-time pickups, and on-time deliveries.

●      Monitor operational KPIs and ensure smooth coordination between sales, operations, and customers.

●      Resolve operational issues and escalations promptly to minimize service disruptions.

■ VENDOR & TRANSPORTER MANAGEMENT

●      Develop and onboard reliable vendors and carriers for Dry & Reefer fleets.

●      Build and manage transporter relationships and drive network expansion across the region.

●      Negotiate rates and service terms with vendors to ensure cost-effective and reliable capacity.

●      Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with service standards.

■ CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

●      Manage customer relationships and ensure operational excellence and high service levels.

●      Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts within the region.

●      Conduct regular business reviews with customers to strengthen long-term partnerships.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

■ EDUCATION

●      Graduate in any discipline.

●      MBA or PG diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Sales & Marketing is an added advantage.

■ EXPERIENCE

●      5–8 years of experience in logistics and supply chain transportation, covering both sales and operations.

●      Prior experience in FTL — Dry & Reefer transportation is strongly preferred.

●      Demonstrated experience in new client acquisition and vendor/carrier network development.

■ TECHNICAL SKILLS

●      Strong knowledge of FTL Dry & Reefer transportation operations.

●      Vendor and carrier sourcing, negotiation, and network management.

●      Proficiency in MS Excel and MIS/reporting tools.

●      Familiarity with TMS/ERP systems used for transportation management.
