We are an exciting, upcoming healthy food startup based in South Mumbai (near Charni Road Station).

Our mission is to serve fresh, nutritious, and calorie-conscious gourmet bowls, salads, and healthy meals to health-focused individuals and fitness enthusiasts. We are looking for a passionate and organised chef to run our kitchen operations and grow with our brand.

Job Responsibilities

• Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare, cook, and present high-quality healthy meals, protein bowls, and salads according to established recipes and portion sizes.
• Menu & Recipe Management: Ensure consistent taste, quality, and strict adherence to nutritional guidelines (calorie tracking and clean ingredients).
• Kitchen Operations: Manage daily kitchen setup, food prep (mise en place), assembly lines, and packing for delivery orders.
• Inventory & Cost Control: Monitor stock levels of fresh ingredients daily, minimize food wastage, and place accurate orders with suppliers.
• Hygiene & Safety: Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, kitchen hygiene, and food safety regulations at all times.

Candidate Requirements

Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in a commercial kitchen, cloud kitchen, or restaurant (experience with healthy food, continental cuisine, or salad/bowl assembly is a major plus).

Location: Candidates residing in Mumbai with an easy commute to Charni Road Station are preferred.

Skills:

• Proficient in continental/fusion cuisines, healthy cooking techniques, and salad dressing preparation.
• Excellent portion control and plating/packaging presentation skills.
• Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene practices.

Education: A certificate/diploma in culinary arts or hotel management is preferred but not mandatory if you have excellent practical experience.
