💼 Hiring: Publishing Sales Executive (Office-Based)

24by7 Publishing is looking for a publishing sales executive.

If you are a standard telecaller who sells insurance or real estate and has never read a book, do not apply. We are looking for a true professional who loves literature, understands the book publishing industry, and knows how to close high-value deals with authors globally.

📌 Job Overview

• Experience: 5–10 years in premium sales or consulting.
• Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 base salary + avg. ₹5K incentive.
• Role: Office-based sales through phone, email, and video meetings (no door-to-door).
• Location: Mahajati Nagar, Birati, Kolkata (Near Airport Gate No. 1)

🎯 Mandatory Core Requirements

• Languages: Strong verbal communication in English, Hindi, and Bengali.
• Proficiency: Excellent proficiency in either English or Hindi is strictly mandatory.
• Professionalism: Extremely polite, well-spoken, and highly presentable on video calls.
• Tech Savvy: Fully comfortable with MS Word, Excel/Google Sheets, Google Workspace, and basic AI tools.

🌟 Highly Preferred Candidate Profile

While the above requirements are mandatory, we give extreme priority to candidates who possess the following:

The "Global Accent": Candidates possessing a polished, neutral, US, or UK accent (for interacting with our international-facing author base) will be moved to the front of the line.

The "Literature" Love: Candidates with a genuine interest in reading books and a trivial knowledge of literature and the publishing industry are highly preferred.
