Job Description:

We are looking for a Factory & Site Operations Manager to take charge of our factory production and on-site installation teams for our aluminium fenestration and facade projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing fabrication, assembly, and site execution in the aluminium/glazing, metal fabrication, or construction industry. You will work closely with the directors during the initial period to learn our systems and standards, with a growing scope of independent responsibility over time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and oversee daily production in the factory to meet fabrication and assembly targets.
• Manage and supervise on-site installation and glazing teams across multiple project locations.
• Coordinate manpower allocation between factory and site based on project priorities and deadlines.
• Monitor work quality at both factory and site stages to maintain the company's quality standards.
• Track project timelines and proactively flag delays or resource issues to the directors.
• Coordinate with outsourced vendors (extrusion, powder coating, glass, hardware, delivery) to ensure timely material availability.
• Ensure safety practices and discipline are followed at the factory and on-site.
• Handle day-to-day people management, including attendance, work allocation, and resolving on-ground issues among factory and site staff.
• Liaise with clients, site engineers, and contractors on progress and technical requirements during execution.
• Report regularly to the directors on production status, site progress, and issues requiring escalation.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in factory/production and site operations, preferably in aluminium fabrication, glazing, facade, or related metal/construction industries.
• Experience managing or closely supervising either a factory-based fabrication team or an on-site installation team; exposure to both is a strong plus.
• Working understanding of aluminium window/facade fabrication, assembly, and glazing processes.
• Ability to read and work from technical/shop drawings.
• Demonstrated people-management skills, ideally with a team of 15+ people.
• Good coordination and communication skills to liaise with vendors, clients, and site teams.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to take ownership of day-to-day decisions.
• Willingness to travel between factory and multiple site locations as required.
