E-commerce Marketplace Specialist

Job Overview: As an E-commerce Marketplace Specialist, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations across various online marketplaces and brand-owned platforms. Your primary focus will be on product catalog management, listing optimization, advertising, sales analysis, marketplace promotions, and overall account performance.

You will work closely with internal teams to ensure products are accurately listed, well-optimized, and positioned to maximize visibility, conversions, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities: Marketplace Management · Manage seller accounts across Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, Nykaa, Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, and other quick commerce platforms.

·        Ensure smooth day-to-day marketplace operations.

· Maintain marketplace compliance and platform guidelines.

·        Coordinate with marketplace support teams whenever required.

Product Listing & Catalogue Management ·        Create, upload, and manage product listings.

·        Maintain accurate product titles, descriptions, specifications, attributes, pricing, inventory, and images.

·        Perform bulk catalog uploads and updates.

· Optimize listings using marketplace best practices.

·        Create enhanced content wherever applicable.

Storefront & Brand Optimization ·        Manage brand stores and storefront pages.

·        Optimize product categories and collections.

· Improve customer experience through structured catalog management.

· Monitor content quality and marketplace standards.

Advertising & Promotions ·        Plan, execute, and optimize PPC campaigns.

· Monitor Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and other advertising campaigns.

·        Improve organic ranking using listing optimization techniques.

·        Create and manage promotional offers, coupons, deals, and seasonal campaigns.

Sales & Performance Analysis ·        Monitor daily sales performance.

·        Track conversion rates, sessions, traffic, and advertising metrics.

·        Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.

·        Identify sales trends and recommend growth strategies.

·        Analyze competitor pricing, promotions, and product positioning.

Inventory & Order Management ·        Monitor inventory levels.

·        Coordinate replenishment planning.

·        Track stock availability.

· Minimize stock-outs and overselling situations.

Quick Commerce Operations · Manage product listings on quick commerce platforms.

· Ensure catalogue accuracy and timely updates.

·        Monitor order performance and platform compliance.

· Coordinate promotional activities across Quick Commerce channels.

Digital Marketing Support · Assist in marketplace marketing initiatives.

·        Support product launch campaigns.

·        Coordinate seasonal and festive campaigns.

·        Contribute ideas for improving brand visibility and customer engagement.

Market Research · Monitor marketplace trends.

·        Study competitor strategies.

·        Identify new opportunities for business growth.

·        Stay updated with changing marketplace algorithms and policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications ·        Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

·        Strong understanding of e-commerce marketplaces.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·        Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

·        High attention to detail and organizational skills.

·        Ability to multitask and manage deadlines.

· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

·        Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

·        Positive attitude with willingness to learn new marketplace tools and technologies.
