AO+ Advisory Services Private Limited is a specialist Australian Accounting & Advisory Services firm established as a joint venture between experienced Indian Chartered Accountants and an Australian CPA practice. Our purpose is to provide high-quality bookkeeping, accounting, taxation, payroll and business advisory support to Australian accounting firms and businesses.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced, motivated and detail-oriented Senior Australian Tax & Business Services Accountant to join our team.

Role Summary
As a Senior Australian Tax & Business Services Accountant, you will manage a portfolio of Australian accounting engagements while reviewing work completed by junior team members. You will play an important role in delivering high-quality tax and accounting services, maintaining quality standards, mentoring staff and supporting Australian partners with advisory engagements.
Previous experience in Australian accounting and outsourcing is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Australian Compliance
- Prepare financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals.
- Prepare Australian income tax returns for all entity types.
- Prepare and review BAS, IAS and other ATO compliance reports.
- Manage bookkeeping and accounting engagements.
- Review GST, payroll and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards, taxation legislation and ATO requirements.
Review & Quality Control
- Review work completed by junior accountants and associates.
- Ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
- Identify accounting, taxation and compliance issues before final review.
- Maintain high-quality working papers and documentation.
- Assist with workflow management across multiple client engagements.
Advisory & Client Support
- Support Australian managers with business advisory and tax planning engagements.
- Assist with business restructuring and taxation matters.
- Build strong working relationships with Australian accounting firms.
- Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes and internal processes.
- Train, mentor and support junior team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) or Master of Commerce (M. Com).
- CA, CPA Australia or CMA qualified (or currently studying).
Experience Required
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Australian accounting and outsourcing.
- Experience preparing Australian financial statements and income tax returns.
- Experience preparing BAS and IAS.
- Strong understanding of Australian GST requirements.
- Experience reviewing work completed by junior accountants.
- Experience using cloud accounting systems.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting principles.
- Excellent accounting and analytical skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Leadership and mentoring capability.
- Hands-on experience with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

Salary
₹50,000 – ₹100,000 per month, depending on experience, technical capability and overall suitability.

Work Details
- Mode: Work from Office or a serviced office arrangement where suitable.
- Working Hours: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (IST)
