About usSuryavanshi Furniture makes solid-wood furniture in our own Jaipur factory and sells it directly to customers across India — through our website, Amazon, Instagram and our Jaipur showroom. Every piece is made to order in our factory; there is no reselling and no middleman. Customers buy from us because the furniture is genuinely well made, and they want to talk to someone who knows it.

The role

• You will own every enquiry that comes to us.
• When someone messages us on Instagram, fills a form on our website, leaves items in their cart, asks a question on Amazon, or walks into our showroom and leaves a number — that lead is yours. You call them, understand what they are trying to furnish, help them choose the right piece, and stay with them until they buy.
• This is not cold calling. Every person you speak to has already reached out to us.
• Furniture is a considered purchase. People take days or weeks to decide, compare options, send photos of their room, change their mind about a finish, and come back. The people who do well in this role enjoy that conversation — they aren't chasing a same-day close.

What you'll do

• Call every new lead within 15 minutes during working hours. Speed is the single biggest reason a customer buys from us instead of someone else.
• Handle enquiries across all our channels — website, Amazon, Instagram, Facebook, abandoned carts and showroom walk-ins.
• Follow up properly and persistently — call, share product photos and pricing on WhatsApp, invite them to the showroom, follow up again. Most sales happen on the fourth or fifth touch.
• Understand the product deeply — woods, finishes, sizes, what we can customise and what we can't — so you can advise rather than read from a list.
• Be honest about delivery timelines. Everything is made to order. You will always quote the real production lead time, never a hopeful one.
• Keep every lead updated in our CRM (TeleCRM) — outcome, next step, next date. Nothing gets forgotten.
• Invite and host showroom visits for customers in and around Jaipur.
• Follow up after delivery for feedback, reviews and referrals.
• Tell us what customers are asking for — sizes we don't make, products we don't offer, prices they push back on. This feeds directly into what we design next.

What we're looking for Essential

• Fluent spoken and written English. You will be on Instagram DMs and Amazon messages in English every day. This is the requirement we do not compromise on.
• Fluent Hindi — most phone conversations will be in Hindi.
• 1–3 years in inside sales, telesales, or a customer-facing retail role. Any industry: real estate, interiors, jewellery, edtech, insurance, hospitality, premium retail.
• Comfortable working in a CRM and being measured on clear numbers.
• Organised — you never let a follow-up slip.
• Patience for a long sales cycle.

Nice to have

• Background in furniture, interiors or home décor
• Experience with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, or Meta lead forms
• A feel for design — you can talk about wood, finish and proportion naturally
