Safety Supervisor

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies.

Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.

Implement and monitor safe work practices at the workplace.

Conduct safety induction training for new employees, contractors, and visitors.

Organize regular toolbox talks and safety awareness programs.

Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all workers.

Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, records, reports, and checklists.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

Perform risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) before work activities.

Ensure compliance with permit-to-work (PTW) procedures for high-risk activities.

Monitor work at height, confined space entry, lifting operations, hot work, and electrical safety.

Coordinate emergency response drills, fire drills, and evacuation procedures.

Inspect fire extinguishers, first aid kits, emergency exits, and other safety equipment.

Ensure statutory compliance with applicable safety regulations (Factories Act, BOCW Act, OSHA standards, or local regulations as applicable).

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, supervisors, and contractors on safety-related matters.

Maintain records of safety observations, audits, and corrective actions.

Report safety performance and compliance status to management.

Promote a positive safety culture and encourage employee participation in safety initiatives.

Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained across the workplace.
