Job Description
An Academic Counselor (Sales & CRM) drives enrollment targets by converting prospective student leads into admissions through consultative selling and CRM management.
Job Summary
We are hiring a target-driven Academic Counselor to handle student admissions and lead conversions. You will counsel prospective students, pitch matching courses, and manage the complete sales pipeline in our CRM to meet monthly enrollment goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert student leads into enrollments via telephonic and video consultations.
- Pitch educational programs based on the student's career goals and handle fee objections.
- Manage CRM data by logging calls, tracking lead statuses, and setting follow-up reminders.
- Achieve weekly & monthly sales targets established by the admissions team.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate in any stream (Business, Marketing, or Communications preferred).
- Experience: 1–3 years in Inside Sales, EdTech sales, BPO, or Admissions Counseling.
- Skills: Excellent English/Hindi communication, telesales, objection handling, and basic CRM knowledge (HubSpot/Salesforce/LeadSquared).
- Mindset: Target-oriented, resilient, and comfortable with cold calling.
