Job Summary

Weddell Agrilabs is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, and ensure accurate compliance with statutory requirements. The candidate should have good knowledge of Tally, GST, and accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally.

- Record purchase, sales, payment, receipt, and journal entries.

- Prepare GST invoices, e-way bills, and e-invoices (if applicable).

- Handle GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliance.

- Perform bank reconciliation and maintain cash & bank records.

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

- Prepare monthly financial reports and MIS.

- Coordinate with auditors, CAs, vendors, and customers.

- Maintain inventory and stock accounting records.

- Ensure proper filing of accounting documents and vouchers.

- Support management with financial reports and budgeting.

Required Qualifications

- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.

- 2–5 years of accounting experience (preferred).

- Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel.

- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.

- Good communication and organizational skills.

- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
