Job Title: Commi Chef – South Indian

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Commi Chef to manage the kitchen operations at our guest house. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving South Indian breakfast buffet items and handling à la carte orders while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve South Indian breakfast buffet (Idli, Dosa, Vada, Upma, Pongal, Chutneys, Sambar, etc.).
• Prepare à la carte meals as per guest requirements.
• Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation standards.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and follow food safety and hygiene practices.
• Monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage.
• Assist in daily mise-en-place and smooth kitchen operations.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience as a Commi Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or guest house.
• Good knowledge of South Indian cuisine and breakfast buffet preparation.
• Ability to handle à la carte orders independently.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
