CAD Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Engineer / Drafting Engineer to create accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings based on designs and requirements from engineers and architects. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software and have a good understanding of technical drawings and drafting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
• Work with engineers and architects to understand design requirements and specifications.
• Convert sketches and concepts into detailed technical drawings.
• Review and update drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, and clients.
• Ensure drawings meet project requirements, technical standards, and quality guidelines.
• Maintain proper documentation, drawing files, and version control.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Identify potential design issues and suggest improvements when required.

Skills Required

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic knowledge of construction, manufacturing, and technical processes.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of drafting principles and technical documentation.
• Basic understanding of materials, construction techniques, and structural concepts.
• Knowledge of 3D modelling and BIM will be an added advantage.
