Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare warehouse invoices based on storage, handling, transportation, and other service charges.
- Verify inward and outward stock records before generating invoices.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to confirm dispatch and receipt details.
- Ensure billing is completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Maintain billing records, invoices, and supporting documentation.
- Resolve billing discrepancies by coordinating with customers and internal departments.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly billing reports.
- Monitor pending invoices and follow up on billing approvals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, customer contracts, and applicable tax regulations (such as GST, where applicable).
- Support audits by providing billing-related documentation and reports.
- Required SkillsKnowledge of warehouse operations and inventory processes.
- Familiarity with billing procedures and invoice preparation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP
- Strong numerical, analytical, and data-entry skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- QualificationsBachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- 0-1 years of experience in warehouse billing, logistics, or accounts (freshers may be considered for junior roles).
- Experience with ERP, WMS, or accounting software is an advantage.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Billing accuracy.
- Timely invoice generation.
- Reduction in billing errors and disputes.
- On-time report submission.
- Customer and internal stakeholder satisfaction.
