Site Engineer

We are seeking a multi-skilled Site Engineer to oversee the end-to-end installation, testing, and commissioning of Solar PV Panels, Fire Hydrant Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, and CCTV Surveillance. You will manage daily site activities, coordinate with contractors and clients, and ensure all works meet quality and safety codes. 

Key Responsibilities

Solar Panel Systems

• Supervise ground mounting or roof top of solar structures and modules.
• Oversee electrical wiring, DC/AC cabling, inverter placement, and grid tie-in.
• Conduct pre-commissioning checks, insulation testing, and performance verification

Fire Hydrant & Fire Fighting Systems

• Oversee installation of fire water pumps, main risers, yard hydrants, and valve assemblies.
• Execute hydrostatic pressure testing and flushing of piping networks.
• Coordinate integration with fire water tanks. 

Fire Alarm Systems

• Supervise wiring and placement of smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points, and hooters.
• Handle fire alarm control panel (FACP) programming, loop mapping, and zone testing.
• Ensure strict adherence to local fire codes and standards (e.g., NBC, NFPA). 

CCTV Camera & Surveillance Systems

• Manage physical installation of IP/analog cameras, PTZ units, and housing brackets.
• Configure NVR/DVR units, switch routing, IP addressing, and client viewing monitors.
• Troubleshoot feed latency, network dropouts, and power supply (PoE) issues.

General Site Management

• Read and interpret CAD drawings, schematics, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Monitor labor force, subcontractors, and material inventory on site.
• Maintain daily progress reports (DPR), joint measurement records (JMR), and safety logs. 

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (B.Tech/B.E) in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in solar PV installation and site execution.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of PV layouts, wiring, earthing, AutoCAD, MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Soft Skills: Problem-solving under site constraints, team leadership, and clear communication for client and vendor coordination
• Age: 20 years to 35 years.
• Salary: Rs 25,000 to 30,000 per month
