Job Description – Part-Time Accountant

Position: Part-Time Accountant

Working Hours: 3-4 hours daily, 5 days a week.

Qualification: Graduate, preferably in Commerce

Experience: Experienced candidate preferred

Location: Guwahati

About the Role

We are looking for a Part-Time Accountant who can visit the office 5 days a week for 3-4 hours and assist with routine accounting and financial activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records.
• Handle basic bookkeeping and data entry.
• Record and maintain invoices, bills, expenses, and payments.
• Assist with bank reconciliation and account-related tasks.
• Maintain proper financial records and documents.
• Coordinate with the team for accounting-related requirements.
• Assist with basic GST/TDS-related work, if required.
• Perform other routine accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Prior experience in independently handling accounts is mandatory.
• Good computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel.
• Knowledge of Tally or other accounting software preferred.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable and organised.
