Senior Account Executive

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant (Female) to oversee financial accounting, project costing, statutory compliance, audit coordination, and financial reporting for our construction business. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in GST, TDS, project accounting, MIS reporting, month-end and year-end closing, and statutory audits, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial accounting and maintain the general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle project costing, Work-in-Progress (WIP) accounting, and cost analysis for construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.
• Prepare and file statutory returns accurately and within deadlines.
• Coordinate and support statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.
• Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, budget variance reports, and financial analysis for management.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations.
• Monitor Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll accounting, and fixed asset records.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Strengthen internal financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate with project, procurement, and management teams for financial reporting and cost control.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com /M.Com preferred).
• 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Experience in handling statutory audits, project accounting, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations.
