1Fi is building India's first consumer financing platform backed by mutual fund holdings. We enable consumers to access affordable financing solutions by unlocking the value of their existing investments.

We are building our merchant network across India and looking for a Field Sales Executive who can help us onboard merchants and drive adoption of 1Fi.

Role Overview

As a Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible for merchant acquisition, onboarding, and driving sales through our merchant network. You will work on the ground, directly engaging with business owners, building relationships, and helping merchants generate customer transactions through 1Fi.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard new merchant partners through cold calling, field visits, and direct outreach.
• Meet business owners, pitch 1Fi, and convert them into active partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with onboarded merchants.
• Help merchants understand the product and drive customer adoption.
• Track merchant performance and identify opportunities to increase sales.
• Maintain daily activity reports including calls, visits, onboarding, and sales metrics.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in field sales, business development, merchant acquisition, or related roles.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable with cold calling and meeting merchants regularly.
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel locally for merchant meetings.
• Prior experience in fintech, payments, lending, POS, banking, or insurance will be preferred.

Compensation

• Fixed Compensation: ₹25,000-₹30,000 per month
• Performance-based variable incentives will be provided based on merchant onboarding and sales performance.
