Data Entry Operator

Job Description – Data Entry OperatorAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Data Entry Operator with basic knowledge of accounting and hands-on experience with Tally. The role will primarily involve maintaining accurate financial records, entering day-to-day transactions, and supporting the Finance team with routine accounting and data management activities.

• Key ResponsibilitiesEnter and maintain day-to-day accounting and financial data in Tally.
• Record invoices, bills, receipts, payments and other financial transactions accurately.
• Perform basic data entry and maintain proper records and documentation.
• Assist with bank, ledger and account reconciliations.
• Verify data and identify discrepancies or missing information.
• Maintain and organise financial documents, bills and supporting records.
• Assist the Finance team with routine accounting and administrative activities.
• Ensure all entries are accurate and completed within the required timelines.
• Handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Who Are We Looking For?Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Hands-on working knowledge of Tally is mandatory.
• Good data entry and numerical skills.
• Comfortable working with MS Excel and basic computer applications.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to identify and resolve basic discrepancies.
• Should be organised, responsible and comfortable working with deadlines.
• Practical, hands-on approach to work rather than purely theoretical knowledge.

Experience1–3 years of relevant experience in data entry, accounting or finance operations is preferred.

QualificationGraduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred.
