Business Head – Education Programs

Shiksharatan India Foundation is committed to empowering students through scholarships, mentorship, educational partnerships, career guidance, and holistic development initiatives across India. The organization collaborates with schools, institutions, educators, corporates, and community stakeholders to create impactful educational opportunities and student success programs.


Position - Business Head – Education Programs

Department - Academic Programs & Strategic Partnerships

Location - Gurugram, Haryana

Experience - 12 - 15 Years

Qualification - Master's Degree in Education, Business Administration (MBA), Educational Leadership, or a related field.

Preferred Qualification - B.Ed. or M.Ed.

Role- The Business Head – National (Academics) is responsible for

driving the growth, expansion, and sustainability of the foundation's academic

programs across India. The role combines academic leadership with business development

by building strategic partnerships, expanding school outreach, managing

large-scale education projects, and ensuring high-quality program

implementation aligned with the foundation's missionKey


Responsibilities

1.     Strategic Leadership:

·        Develop and execute the national growth strategy for academic programs.

·        Identify opportunities for expansion into new states, districts, and school networks.

·        Align academic initiatives with the foundation's vision and long-term objectives.

 

2.     Business Development & Partnerships:

·        Build and maintain relationships with government departments, schools, NGOs, CSR partners, educational institutions, and corporate organizations.

·        Develop proposals, concept notes, and partnership presentations.

·        Identify funding and collaboration opportunities for academic projects.

·        Represent the foundation at meetings, conferences, and education forums.

 

3.     Academic Program Management:

·        Oversee the implementation of academic programs across multiple regions.

·        Ensure program quality, consistency, and achievement of learning outcomes.

·        Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and performance indicators.

·        Support curriculum implementation and continuous program improvement.

 

4.     School Outreach & Expansion:

·        Lead national school outreach initiatives.

·        Develop strategies to increase school participation and student engagement.

·        Coordinate with regional teams to achieve expansion targets.

 

5.     Team Leadership:

·        Lead and mentor national, regional, and state academic teams.

·        Establish performance goals and conduct regular reviews.

·        Build a high-performance and collaborative work culture

 

6.     Financial & Operational Management:

·        Prepare annual budgets and resource plans for academic projects.

·        Ensure efficient utilization of funds and operational resources.

·        Monitor project costs and financial performance.

 

7.     Monitoring & Reporting:

·        Develop dashboards and reports to monitor academic and business performance.

·        Present progress reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and the Board.

·        Ensure compliance with donor, CSR, and regulatory requirements.

Required Experience –

·        Experience in education, academic program management, business development, or strategic partnerships.

·        At least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

·        Experience working with NGOs, education foundations, CSR projects, EdTech, or school networks.

·        Proven experience managing national or multi-state education initiatives.


Reporting Structure

-·        Reports To: Founder

 

Travel Requirement

–Extensive travel across India for partnership meetings, school visits, project reviews, and stakeholder engagement.
