Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Accountant / Senior Accounts Executive for our transport and logistics operations. The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of accounting, taxation, and day-to-day transport-related financial management.

Accountant / Senior Accounts Executive (Transport & Logistics)

Experience Required

Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts & Finance

Preference will be given to candidates from the Transport / Logistics / Fleet Management industry

Job Responsibilities

Handling complete accounting operations in Tally ERP / Tally Prime

Managing GST accounting, GST return filing, reconciliation, and compliance

Knowledge of TDS deduction, filing, and reconciliation

Maintaining Debit/Credit entries

Preparing and managing:

Bank Vouchers

Payment Vouchers

Receipt Vouchers

Journal Entries

Handling transport-related expenses such as:

Diesel Expenses

Toll Expenses

Vehicle Maintenance Expenses

Driver Payments

Trip Expenses

Bank reconciliation and ledger maintenance

Maintaining daily MIS and expense reports

Coordination with management, vendors, and clients regarding accounts

Ensuring proper accounting documentation and record keeping
