Job Title: Vlogger – Weight Loss Hostel & Behind-the-Scenes Content

Job Type: Full-time, on-ground role with flexible working hours

Job Purpose: Indian Weight Loss Diet is looking for a creative, active, and consistent Vlogger who can capture the daily life, weight loss journey, transformation moments, emotions, discipline, fun, and real stories of students staying at the IWLD Weight Loss Hostel in Goa.

The Goa Hostel and IWLD office have huge content potential because students, cooks, housekeeping staff, drivers, team members, podcast guests, Richa Ma’am’s shoots, Sumeet Sir’s clips, kitchens, and daily office activities are happening regularly. The Vlogger’s main role will be to capture these moments and convert them into relatable, emotional, and viral content for Instagram, YouTube, and other social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Hostel Vlog Coverage

●      Capture daily routines of weight loss students at Goa Hostel

●      Shoot morning weigh-ins, meals, water intake, Zoom classes, discipline, and student activities

●      Capture emotional moments, struggles, motivation, cravings, confidence changes, and achievements

●      Cover student bonding, fun activities, celebrations, and transformation milestones

●      Show students’ real weight loss journey in a natural and relatable way

2. Capture High Moments 24x7 This is not a fixed-time desk job. The Vlogger must have a strong content-alert mindset and should be ready to capture important moments anytime.

Examples of high moments:

●      Student reaction after weight loss

●      Student refusing junk food or following discipline

●      Funny hostel moments

●      Emotional conversations

●      Students preparing for podcast or reels

●      Richa Ma’am motivating or shooting content

●      Sumeet Sir giving motivation or shooting his clips

●      Kitchen, office, team, and behind-the-scenes activities

3. Cover IWLD Goa Campus

The Vlogger will cover content from:

●      Weight loss hostel

●      Student kitchen

●      Team kitchen

●      Cooks preparing IWLD meals

●      Housekeeping and support staff activities

●      Drivers and logistics moments

●      Office team activities

●      Production shoots

●      Podcast guest visits

●      Richa Ma’am’s shoots and BTS

●      Sumeet Sir’s relevant routine, motivation, and content clips

The aim is to show the complete IWLD Goa ecosystem in a real and engaging way.

4. Work with Richa Ma’am and Sumeet Sir Content

The Vlogger should capture:

●      Richa Ma’am’s shoot BTS, student interaction, and motivation moments

●      Sumeet Sir’s short routine clips, motivation clips, student guidance moments, workout/movement clips, and self-shot clips

●      Behind-the-scenes moments of senior management, office work, shoots, and student guidance

●      Sumeet Sir’s self-shot clips and incorporate them properly into vlogs/reels wherever required

The candidate must understand the context of these clips and use them in a way that supports the story and brand message.

5. Shooting Through iPhone and Camera

The candidate should be comfortable shooting with:

●      iPhone

●      DSLR / mirrorless camera

●      Gimbal

●      Tripod

●      Wireless mic

●      Basic lighting setup

Basic understanding of framing, audio, lighting, vertical video, and camera angles is required.

6. Storytelling and Viral Content Sense

The Vlogger should understand what makes content relatable and viral, including:

●      Strong hooks

●      Emotional moments

●      Funny and natural reactions

●      Before-after contrast

●      Student struggles and wins

●      Daily mini-stories

●      Suspense, curiosity, and human emotions

●      Short clips that can become reels or YouTube Shorts

The candidate should think like a storyteller, not just a camera person.

7. Editing and Cuts Knowledge

The candidate should have basic editing and cuts knowledge, including:

●      Selecting best clips from raw footage

●      Removing boring parts

●      Creating fast-paced vlog cuts

●      Adding jump cuts, reaction cuts, captions, and subtitles

●      Making 30–60 second reels from vlog footage

●      Creating daily vlog formats

●      Combining self-shot clips with regular footage

●      Giving clear editing notes to editors

8. Daily Content Delivery

The Vlogger will be responsible for capturing and coordinating daily content such as:

●      Daily hostel vlog

●      Short reels

●      BTS stories

●      Student journey clips

●      Funny moments

●      Emotional transformation clips

●      Richa Ma’am/Sumeet Sir BTS clips

●      Office, kitchen, hostel, and podcast guest clips

The Vlogger will coordinate with the editor, content writer, Instagram Executive, YouTube Manager, and Production Head for approvals and posting.

9. Coordination and Comfort Building

The Vlogger must build a comfortable environment so that students and team members look natural on camera.

Responsibilities include:

●      Taking consent before sensitive shoots

●      Making students comfortable during recording

●      Coordinating with hostel warden/nutritionist before shooting in hostel areas

●      Coordinating with cooks, housekeeping, drivers, office team, and production team

●      Explaining the story/context of footage to editors

●      Maintaining respect and professionalism at all times

10. Footage Management

●      Backup daily footage properly

●      Maintain folders date-wise, student-wise, and topic-wise

●      Mark important/high-moment clips

●      Share selected clips with editors on time

●      Keep raw footage safe

●      Maintain basic daily content report

11. Brand Sensitivity

The Vlogger must understand that IWLD content involves real people, emotions, body image, and transformation journeys.

The Vlogger must ensure:

●      Students are shown respectfully

●      No one is mocked for weight, body, food habits, or emotions

●      Sensitive personal or medical details are not shared without approval

●      Content aligns with IWLD teachings and values

●      Final content builds trust, inspiration, and motivation

Required Skills

●      Strong vlogging sense

●      Good observation power

●      iPhone and camera shooting skills

●      Basic lighting and audio knowledge

●      Basic video editing skills

●      Understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube vlogs

●      Knowledge of hooks, cuts, pacing, and storytelling

●      Ability to shoot vertical and horizontal content

●      Can shoot during mornings, evenings, late nights, events, or sudden moments

●      Has patience to follow students’ long transformation journeys

●      Is positive, energetic, disciplined, and ownership-driven

●      Can work closely with Richa Ma’am, Sumeet Sir, students, hostel team, and production team

●      Can handle corrections and fast execution

Daily Responsibilities:

●      Capture hostel routine and student weight updates

●      Shoot food preparation and meal moments

●      Record student conversations, struggles, wins, and activities

●      Capture BTS of Richa Ma’am and Sumeet Sir wherever required

●      Cover office, kitchen, hostel, team, and podcast activities

●      Identify 5–10 high moments daily

●      Share best clips with editing/content team

●      Edit or assist in editing daily vlog/reel cuts

●      Coordinate posting of approved content

●      Maintain daily footage backup

●      Give daily content update to Production Head/Management

Key Performance Indicators:

●      Number of usable high-moment clips captured daily

●      Number of daily vlogs/reels delivered

●      Consistency of content delivery

●      Quality of storytelling

●      Views, shares, saves, comments, and watch time

●      Number of student transformation moments captured

●      Timely footage backup and sharing

●      Feedback from Production Head, Social Media Team, and Management

Preferred Experience:

●      Experience in daily vlogging

●      Experience in shooting Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts

●      Basic video editing experience

●      Personal active Instagram/YouTube account preferred

●      Experience in fitness, lifestyle, hostel, travel, reality-style, or transformation content will be an advantage

Salary Range: ₹20,000 to ₹45,000 per month

Based on shooting skill, editing skill, experience, storytelling sense, and daily output ability.

Performance incentives may be added based on viral content performance, consistency, leads generated, and growth of assigned account.

This Vlogger will play an important role in showing the real face of IWLD Goa Hostel and IWLD’s daily working culture to the world. The person must be alert, creative, fast, disciplined, emotionally intelligent, and always ready with the camera.
