Production Supervisor (PCB Manufacturing)

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our PCB

production facility. The ideal candidate will lead a team of operators, ensure production targets are achieved,

maintain product quality, improve productivity, and ensure strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

This role is ideal for candidates from the PCB Industry. Candidates from Electronics Manufacturing, EMS, SMT, Cable

Assembly, Precision Engineering, Plastic, Automotive Components, or Similar Manufacturing Industries may also

apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Management

 Supervise daily PCB manufacturing activities.

 Allocate manpower according to production schedules.

 Monitor daily production output and achieve production targets within deadlines.

 Reduce production downtime and improve operational efficiency.

 Coordinate with Production Planning and monitor work-in-progress to ensure smooth production flow.

• Team Management

 Handle a team of approximately 20 operators and technicians.

 Assign daily work, monitor attendance, and conduct shift handovers.

 Resolve manpower issues, train new employees, and maintain workforce discipline.

• Quality Control & Process Improvement

 Ensure products meet IPC standards, monitor defects, and reduce rejection percentage.

 Coordinate with QA/QC to participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

 Implement Lean Manufacturing principles, monitor OEE, improve cycle times, and minimize wastage.

 Maintain strict SOP compliance and suggest continuous productivity improvements.

• Safety & Compliance

 Ensure workplace safety, conduct safety briefings, and ensure PPE compliance.

 Follow company policies and maintain thorough 5S implementation across the shop floor.

Required Skills & Qualifications

 Core Skills: Production Planning, Shop Floor Management, Team Leadership, Problem Solving & Decision Making.

 Methodologies: Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S Implementation, Root Cause Analysis, Quality Systems.

 Preferred Experience: 3–5 years in Production Supervision. PCB Manufacturing experience preferred (candidates

from EMS, SMT, Precision Engineering, or Automotive Components are welcome).

 Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Production, Industrial Engineering, or

equivalent.
