Accountant/ Accounts Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting software, GST, TDS, and financial record management. The candidate must be honest, organized, and capable of handling accounts independently.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain day-to-day accounting records.

* Record sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.

* Prepare and reconcile bank statements.

* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

* Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory compliances.

* Generate invoices, e-way bills, and e-invoices (if applicable).

* Maintain stock and inventory records (if required).

* Perform monthly ledger reconciliation.

* Assist in preparing financial statements and MIS reports.

* Coordinate with CA, auditors, banks, and government authorities.

* Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.

* Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers/vendors.

* Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Required Skills

* Good knowledge of Tally Prime (Busy ERP knowledge is an added advantage).

* Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

* Good communication and organizational skills.

Qualification

* B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

* 2–5 years of accounting experience preferred.

* Experience in a trading or hardware business will be an added advantage.
