Job Description
Machine Setup: Load raw materials, secure workpieces with clamps or fixtures, and select the correct cutting tools.
Operation & Monitoring: Run pre-loaded G-code and M-code programs, adjust feed and speed rates, and watch the machine to prevent errors.
Quality Check: Measure finished parts using precision tools like calipers and micrometers to match blueprint dimensions.
Tool & Offset Adjustment: Set tool/work offsets and change worn-out tool inserts to maintain tight tolerances.
Maintenance & Safety: Perform daily machine cleaning, complete routine upkeep, and follow workplace safety rules
