Job Description – Engineer Trainee (JET)
Position: Junior Engineer Trainee
Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu
Experience: Freshers – 0 to 1 Year
Employment Type: Full-Time
Educational Qualification
B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
B.E. / B.Tech – EEE /ECE
B.E. / B.Tech – Mechatronics / Automation
Diploma – Mechanical / ECE / EEE / Mechatronics / Automation
Job Responsibilities
Assist the engineering and production teams in day-to-day operations.
Understand and follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and process specifications.
Support production activities and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Assist in machine/process monitoring and basic troubleshooting.
Perform basic inspection and measurement of components using measuring instruments.
Maintain production records and documentation.
Follow 5S, safety, quality, and standard operating procedures.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments.
Learn and gain hands-on exposure to manufacturing processes and equipment.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of engineering/manufacturing concepts.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Basic knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper and Micrometer.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work in shifts.
Strong learning attitude and interest in manufacturing/engineering.
