Job Description
- Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesHandle cash deposits and withdrawals accurately.
- Receive and process cheque deposits and cash payments.
- Verify customer identity and banking documents before processing transactions.
- Count, balance, and reconcile cash at the beginning and end of each working day.
- Issue demand drafts, pay orders, and banker's cheques as per bank procedures.
- Process fund transfers and other routine banking transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve basic customer queries.
- Maintain accurate transaction records and update banking systems.
- Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, RBI regulations, and internal bank policies.
- Detect and report counterfeit currency or suspicious transactions.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
- Assist customers with ATM, debit card, internet banking, and mobile banking services.
- Coordinate with branch operations for smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Follow all security procedures while handling cash and valuables.
