Security Guard Supervisor

Responsibilities:

1. Security Monitoring:

• Assist in monitoring and patrolling designated areas to maintain order and security.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or violations of security protocols.

1. Access Control:

• Manage access control protocols by checking identification badges and ensuring that only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
• Monitor visitor traffic and assist with visitor check-in procedures.

1. Emergency Response:

• Be prepared to respond to emergencies and incidents, including fire alarms, medical situations, and security breaches.
• Assist in coordinating with emergency services and law enforcement when necessary.

1. Surveillance:

• Operate and monitor CCTV and security systems effectively.
• Document incidents and maintain accurate records of security logs and reports.

1. Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service by helping visitors and employees with inquiries and directions.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and foster positive relationships with the community.

1. Training and Compliance:

• Stay informed on security protocols and participate in training sessions as required.
• Help enforce company policies and procedures related to safety and security.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in security or law enforcement is a plus.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in stressful situations.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with security systems is preferred.
