Plant / Factory Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Plant Head to lead our manufacturing operations for injection molded plastic parts used in pharmaceutical packaging. As the Plant Head, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, ensuring optimal efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement the plant's strategic plan, aligning with the overall company objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the plant.
• Operational Excellence:
• 
  
• Oversee daily plant operations, including production planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure plant performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure adherence to quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, etc.).
• Implement robust quality control measures to maintain product quality and consistency.
• Manage inventory levels to optimize stock and minimize waste.
• Optimize production processes and equipment to maximize output and minimize downtime.
• Team Management:
• 
  
• Lead and motivate a team of production supervisors, engineers, and technicians.
• Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Provide leadership and guidance to resolve operational challenges.
• Safety and Compliance:

• Prioritize safety and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.
• Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Cost Control:

• Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and overhead expenses.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective cost-reduction strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Polymer) or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the plastics industry.
• Proven track record in leading plant operations and achieving production targets.
• Strong understanding of injection molding processes, equipment, and tooling.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining quality management systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in using ERP systems and other relevant software.
