Job Description
- Key Roles and Responsibilities1. Site SupervisionMonitor day-to-day construction activities.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Supervise laborers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Maintain site safety standards and regulations.
- 2. Construction Planning and ExecutionAssist in planning construction schedules and work sequences.
- Coordinate material deliveries and equipment usage.
- Track project progress and report delays or issues.
- 3. Quality ControlInspect construction materials and workmanship.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and building codes.
- Conduct quality checks for concrete, steel, masonry, and finishing works.
- 4. Quantity Surveying and EstimationMeasure quantities of materials required for projects.
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets.
- Verify contractor bills and maintain quantity records.
- 5. Surveying ActivitiesPerform site measurements and leveling work.
- Assist in setting out buildings, roads, and structures.
- Use surveying instruments such as Total Station and Auto Level.
- 6. Documentation and ReportingMaintain daily progress reports and site records.
- Prepare material consumption reports.
- Update project documentation and submit reports to senior engineers.
- 7. Health and Safety ComplianceEnsure workers follow safety procedures.
- Conduct site safety inspections.
- Report and help address hazards and incidents.
- 8. Coordination with StakeholdersCommunicate with clients, architects, consultants, and contractors.
- Attend project meetings and provide status updates.
- Resolve site-related technical issues.
