We’re Hiring | Senior Estimator – Interior & Architectural Projects

Location: Ekkattuthangal, Chennai
Basic Hitech Furniture Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Senior Estimator with strong experience in interior and architectural projects. The role requires hands-on expertise in estimation, tender preparation, and drawing coordination, with exposure to both residential and commercial works.
- Position DetailsRole: Senior Estimator – Interiors & Architecture
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years (mandatory)
- Industry: Interior Design / Architectural / Fit-out / Turnkey Projects
- Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of detailed estimates, BOQs, and rate analysis
- Tender preparation, submission, and cost comparison
- Study and interpretation of GFC drawings, specifications, and scope
- Coordination with design, project, procurement, and site teams
- Vendor quotation analysis and budget finalization
- Handling variations, value engineering, and cost control
- Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, joinery, and fit-out works
- Proficiency in 2D drawings (AutoCAD)
- Ability to coordinate and interpret 3D designs (SketchUp / 3ds Max / Revit – coordination level)
- Clear understanding of residential vs commercial project costing
- Project Exposure RequiredResidential: Apartments, Villas, High-end Homes
- Commercial: Offices, Retail, Corporate & Hospitality Interiors
- Candidate Profile5+ years of relevant experience in interior/architectural estimation
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Salary: As per industry standards, based on experience
