Production Supervisor

Reporting Structure

• Reporting To: Production In Charge / Plant In Charge

Production & Operations Management

• Maintain operations to accept and complete any work received by EXCELLENT GASKET PRIVATE LIMITED without delay.
• Plan material immediately upon receipt of a work order; complete production the same day if materials are available.
• Escalate any issues, delays, or blockages to the Plant In Charge or Technical Director immediately without waiting.
• Ensure all production tasks and work orders are completed before the due date (aiming for same-day completion where possible).
• Timely deliver completed work orders to the dispatch department within the due date.

Equipment Maintenance & Facility Upkeep

• Maintain all machinery and facilities to prevent breakdowns.
• Ensure daily machine maintenance, including cleaning before starting work and after completion.
• Keep the plant, tools, fixtures, and measuring instruments clean, tidy, and properly organized.
• Ensure tools are returned to their designated places after use.

Team Training & Housekeeping Practices

• Train department personnel on their specific responsibilities.
• Train machine operators on day-to-day operations and work culture.
• Ensure personnel practice 5 'S' principles daily.

Inventory, Quality & Compliance

• Ensure sufficient material stocks are available in advance for processing.
• Maintain complete rejection and rework records.
• Implement and follow Integrated Management System (IMS) standards according to ISO-9001, ISO-14001, and ISO-45001.
