Catalog Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain product listings across e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart, etc.).
• Ensure product titles, descriptions, specifications, pricing, attributes, and categories are accurate and complete.
• Review and maintain high-quality product images and ensure they meet marketplace standards.
• Perform catalog quality audits to identify and resolve data inconsistencies.
• Monitor listing performance and recommend improvements for visibility and conversions.
• Coordinate with photography, content, design, and inventory teams to ensure accurate product information.
• Upload new products, update existing listings, and manage bulk catalog updates.
• Ensure compliance with marketplace policies and catalog guidelines.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly catalog performance reports.
• Analyze catalog-related issues and implement corrective actions to improve data quality and operational efficiency.
• Maintain product documentation, SKU mapping, and catalog records.

Required Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, data cleaning).
• Knowledge of e-commerce marketplaces such as Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with product information management (PIM) or catalog management systems is an advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Applications, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in e-commerce catalog management, product listing, or catalog operations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with bulk product uploads using CSV/Excel.
• Basic understanding of SEO for product listings.
• Knowledge of image quality standards for e-commerce.
• Experience with Power BI or SQL is a plus.
