Construction Labour

Job Summary

We are looking for a hardworking and responsible Farm Labour to support the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our agricultural/farm property. The candidate will be responsible for general farm work, crop and plant care, cleaning, maintenance, and assisting the farm management team with routine activities.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Farm Maintenance
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the farm area.
• Clear weeds, dry leaves, unwanted plants, and debris.
• Maintain pathways, fencing, and common farm areas.
• Assist with basic repairs and maintenance work.
• Plant & Crop Care
• Water plants, crops, trees, and other vegetation as required.
• Assist with planting, transplanting, pruning, and harvesting.
• Apply manure, compost, and fertilizers as instructed.
• Identify and report plant diseases or pest-related issues.
• Irrigation & Water Management
• Operate and maintain basic irrigation systems.
• Ensure proper watering of crops and plants.
• Report any leakage or damage to irrigation equipment.
• General Farm Activities

Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting farm materials.

• Handle agricultural tools and equipment safely.
• Support seasonal farming activities.
• Assist supervisors with daily farm-related tasks.
• Livestock Support – If Applicable

Assist with feeding and caring for farm animals.

• Keep animal sheds and surrounding areas clean.
• Report any health or unusual behaviour of animals to the supervisor.
• Property Upkeep
• Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the farm.
• Assist in maintaining gardens, lawns, plantations, and open areas.
• Ensure farm equipment and tools are stored properly.
• Safety & Security
• Follow all farm safety procedures.
• Use tools, machinery, fertilizers, and other materials carefully.
• Immediately report accidents, damage, trespassing, or unusual activities.

Requirements

• Physically fit and capable of performing outdoor/manual work.
• Willingness to work in different weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of farming and agricultural activities is preferred.
• Prior farm labour experience will be an advantage.
• Hardworking, punctual, honest, and responsible.
• Ability to follow instructions from the Farm Manager/Supervisor.
• Basic knowledge of handling agricultural tools and equipment.
