Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee rubber lining operations at NTPC Korba. You will manage on-site teams, ensure quality compliance, and drive timely project execution for critical infrastructure lining work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily rubber lining activities, including surface preparation, application, curing, and inspection.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and NTPC site personnel to meet project timelines and safety standards.
- Monitor material usage, equipment handling, and workmanship to adhere to ASTM/ISO standards for rubber lining.
- Conduct quality checks, document progress, and report deviations or issues promptly.
- Enforce PPE usage, risk assessments, and compliance with NTPC safety protocols.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma/BE in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years in rubber lining supervision, preferably in power plants or heavy industrial projects.
- Hands-on knowledge of rubber types (natural, neoprene, EPDM), lining techniques, and testing methods.
- Familiarity with NTPC guidelines, industrial safety norms, and tools like thickness gauges/vulcanizers.
- Strong leadership, communication skills, and ability to work in shift rotations.
