Role Overview
As a Supply Chain Planning Expert, you will be instrumental in managing the end-to-end supply chain planning activities that support our sales operations. Your expertise will ensure seamless coordination among procurement, production, and commercial teams to meet demand forecasts while minimizing costs and inventory levels. This position demands strong analytical skills and effective collaboration across departments to enhance overall supply chain performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust supply chain plans aligned with sales forecasts and business goals.
• Collaborate closely with procurement and commercial teams to synchronize supply availability with customer demand.
• Analyze supply chain risks and opportunities to implement proactive strategies for potential disruptions.
• Monitor inventory levels, production schedules, and order fulfillment to meet delivery deadlines efficiently.
• Utilize data-driven insights to continuously improve supply chain processes, reduce lead times, and optimize resource utilization.
• Manage communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure clarity and timely updates on supply chain status.
• Support the integration of digital tools and technologies that enhance supply chain visibility and agility.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting supply chain metrics, challenges, and solutions.
• Travel up to 25% to support supplier audits, cross-functional meetings, and site visits as required.

 

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in supply chain planning, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams and with external partners.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Familiarity with procurement processes and commercial considerations relevant to supply chain planning.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a results-oriented mindset.
