Job Description
- Manage and supervise assembly-line workers.
- Allocate manpower according to daily production requirements.
- Ensure daily production targets are achieved.
- Monitor assembly process and product quality.
- Check proper use of components, tools and materials.
- Train workers on assembly procedures and work instructions.
- Maintain discipline, attendance and housekeeping on the production floor.
- Identify production problems and report them to the Production Manager.
- Coordinate with Quality, Store, Maintenance and HR departments.
- Maintain daily production and rejection records.
- Reduce wastage, rejection and rework.
- Follow safety and 5S practices on the shop floor.
- Ensure workers follow the correct assembly sequence and process.
