We are looking for a motivated and technically strong Graduate Engineer Trainee –

Mechanical to join our engineering team. The role is designed for fresh mechanical engineering graduates who are eager to gain hands-on exposure to manufacturing, design, maintenance, quality, process improvement, and project execution. The selected candidate will undergo structured training and work under the guidance of senior engineers to develop practical engineering and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:-·       

Assist senior engineers in day-to-day mechanical engineering activities related to production, maintenance, design, quality, or projects.

·        Read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, technical specifications, and process documents.

·        Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for machines, equipment, utilities, and mechanical systems.

·        Participate in root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and safety.

·        Perform basic engineering calculations, data collection, documentation, and reporting as required.

·        Coordinate with production, quality, purchase, stores, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth execution of assigned tasks.

·        Assist in inspection, testing, quality checks, and validation of mechanical components, assemblies, and processes.

·        Learn and follow company standards, safety procedures, 5S practices, and applicable quality management systems.

·        Support project execution activities including planning, tracking, vendor coordination, and preparation of technical reports.

·        Take ownership of assigned training modules, improvement projects, and performance objectives during the trainee period.

Required Qualifications:-

·        B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

·        Fresh graduate or candidate with up to 1 year of relevant experience.

·        Good academic record with strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals.

·        Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD software.

·        Understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, fabrication, casting, forging, and assembly.

·        Awareness of quality tools such as 5S, Kaizen, root-cause analysis, 7 QC tools, and basic inspection methods.

·        Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting.

·        Ability to read engineering drawings, tolerances, symbols, and bill of materials.

Training and Development:-

The Graduate Engineer Trainee will undergo structured induction and technical training covering company processes, plant operations, safety standards, engineering systems, quality practices, and functional responsibilities. Performance will be reviewed periodically based on learning progress, technical contribution, project assignments, teamwork, and adherence to company standards.

Reporting Structure:-The role will report to the Department Head, Production Manager, Maintenance Manager, or assigned Mentor, depending on the functional placement.

Preferred Candidate Profile:-

·  Recent mechanical engineering graduate with strong technical fundamentals.

·  Hands-on project, internship, or industrial training exposure will be an added advantage.

·  Interest in manufacturing, product design, quality, maintenance, automation, or process improvement.

·  Ability to learn quickly and contribute to practical engineering assignments.
