Site Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Site Engineer to oversee construction activities on our sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Site Engineer will also be responsible for supervising site staff, managing subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Management: Oversee construction activities on site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

2. Staff Supervision: Supervise site staff, including laborers, carpenters, and other tradespeople.

3. Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractors, ensuring that they comply with company policies and procedures.

4. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and reporting any hazards or incidents.

5. Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks, ensuring that work meets the required standards.

6. Client Liaison: Liaise with clients, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are informed of project progress.

7. Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports, including progress reports, safety reports, and quality control reports.

Requirements:

·       Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Building Science, or related field.

·       Skills:

o  Strong leadership and management skills

o  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

o  Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

o  Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality control procedures

o  Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software

·       Certifications: Valid certifications in construction management, health and safety, or quality control (e.g., OSHA, LEED AP)

·       Language: Must be fluent in Kannada, English, and Hindi.

·       Transportation: Must have a valid two-wheeler license and own a two-wheeler.
