Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesResearch, write, and edit accurate, engaging, and fact-based news scripts for television and digital platforms.
- Present live and recorded news bulletins with confidence, clarity, and professionalism.
- Conduct interviews with public officials, subject-matter experts, and members of the public.
- Cover breaking news, special events, press conferences, and field reports.
- Record voice-overs for news packages, documentaries, promotional videos, and public service announcements.
- Verify facts and ensure compliance with journalistic ethics, editorial standards, and broadcasting guidelines.
- Collaborate with producers, reporters, editors, camerapersons, and technical teams to deliver high-quality news content.
- Monitor current affairs, political developments, business, sports, and social issues to identify newsworthy stories.
- Assist in planning and producing special programs, panel discussions, and feature stories.
- Maintain a strong on-screen presence while communicating information clearly and objectively.
- Meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
- Engage audiences across television and digital media while maintaining accuracy, impartiality, and credibility.
