Sales Associate

Job Purpose

To drive sales on the shop floor by assisting customers with product selection, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the store's overall sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Sales

• Achieve individual sales targets as assigned, contributing to 100% of store sales target achievement

• Assist customers in product selection based on their preferences and needs

• Drive add-on sales and cross-selling to improve average bill value (ABV) and units per transaction (UPT)

• Stay updated on new arrivals, promotions, and pricing to inform customers accurately

Customer Service

• Greet and engage customers warmly as they enter the store

• Provide accurate product knowledge (materials, designs, care instructions) for imitation jewellery

• Handle customer queries and ensure a positive shopping experience, maintaining a customer satisfaction score of 90% or above

Merchandising & Stock

• Ensure products are displayed as per visual merchandising guidelines

• Support stock replenishment on the shop floor

• Report low stock/fast-moving items to the Store Manager/Assistant Manager

Store Upkeep

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned sections/counters

• Support billing counter during peak hours if required

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 10th or 12th Pass

• 0–3 years of retail sales experience; freshers with strong communication skills can apply
