L1 Network Engineer — Onsite at a Coliving Community

Job Location: Electronic City, Bangalore

Onsite | Full-time | 0–2 years’ experience | Free meals

We're hiring an L1 Network Engineer to keep a buzzing coliving community always-connected. You'll be first defense for the WiFi and LAN residents rely on for work, study, and daily life. When the network hums, the whole house hums.


What you'll do

  • Monitor, manage, and maintain WiFi and LAN infrastructure across the property
  • First responder for connectivity issues — diagnose, resolve, escalate
  • Handle Wi-Fi deployment end-to-end: site surveys, AP placement, configuration, validation
  • SSID configs, VLAN basics, IP addressing, DHCP, basic firewall rules, bandwidth allocation
  • Work with switches, routers, APs, and structured cabling
  •  
  • Maintain network diagrams, incident logs, and asset inventory
  • Coordinate with ISPs and L2/L3 teams for escalations
  • Support residents with quick, friendly troubleshooting

What we're looking for

  • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in CS, IT, ECE — or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, WiFi standards
  • Familiarity with Ubiquiti, Cisco, TP-Link, MikroTik, or similar
  • Basic Windows + Linux CLI comfort
  • CCNA / Network+ a plus
  • Calm, clear communicator who owns problems till solved
  • Willing to live onsite
