Content Analyst

Job Description:

We are looking for graduates who are extremely innovative in using the internet while searching for information. The role involves performing intensive searches on the internet to identify video piracy, unauthorized content distribution, and trademark infringement as part of our live and archived web content monitoring process. If you have an active interest in sport, you might be the right person for this job. The ideal candidate has strong analytical capabilities and excellent interpersonal skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor online platforms such as social media, websites, streaming & messaging applications, and chat forums for instances of digital piracy, including unauthorized video clips and live streams, related to diverse sporting events.
• Identify unauthorized use of trademarks, logos, team/league branding, and counterfeit or unlicensed merchandise links across websites, social media, and e-commerce platforms.
• Employ effective search techniques to locate copyrighted material and trademark violations.
• Assist in drafting takedown notices and copyright/trademark removal forms addressed to platforms, service providers, and individuals operating websites engaged in piracy or brand infringement, ensuring compliance with DMCA and applicable trademark laws.
• Collaborate with and assist compliance and legal teams to address copyright and trademark infringements and enforce intellectual property rights. Assist in planning, organizing, and directing enforcement activities.
• Compile and deliver periodic reports to clients on piracy and infringement trends.
• Extract information from WHOIS records about domain ownership, registrant email ID, domain registrar, IP address, and host providers.
• Stay updated on piracy trends, brand impersonation tactics, and technological advancements affecting online IP infringement and mitigation strategies.

Candidates must be:

• Willing to work in monthly rotational shifts, including night shifts.
• Willing to work on weekends with flexible weekly offs.
• Flexible and open to changing priorities, as well as handling multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes.
