Senior Account Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage the company's day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly management reports.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning.
• Ensure timely processing of payroll and salary disbursement.
• Handle statutory compliance including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax (PT), Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), Income Tax, and ROC filings.
• Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Manage vendor payments, customer invoicing, and payment follow-ups.
• Monitor company expenses and implement cost-control measures.
• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory returns.
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST regulations, and other applicable laws.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, consultants, and government authorities.
• Review contracts and financial documents from a commercial perspective.
• Maintain accurate accounting records using ERP/accounting software.
• Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounts team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) with CA Inter / CMA / MBA (Finance),MCOM preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Experience in an IT Services or Product-Based Company is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, payroll, and statutory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Tamil is preferred.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of 15 days or less are preferred.
