Safety Officer

**URGENT REQUIREMENT**

Health, Safety & Environment Management

• Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific HSE plans, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, client requirements, and company standards.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure safe work practices are followed.

Risk Assessment & Hazard Control

• Conduct risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments (HIRA).
• Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate risks.
• Review method statements and work permits for high-risk activities.

Safety Monitoring & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
• Monitor activities such as working at heights, excavation, lifting operations, confined space entry, electrical work, and hot work.
• Verify proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
• Maintain compliance records and statutory documentation.

Incident Investigation & Reporting

• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Track and monitor closure of safety observations and corrective actions.
• Maintain accident and injury statistics and safety performance reports.

Training & Awareness

• Conduct site safety inductions for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Organize toolbox talks, safety campaigns, drills, and awareness programs.
• Train supervisors and workers on safe work procedures and emergency response plans.
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.

Emergency Preparedness

• Develop and implement emergency response plans.
• Conduct mock drills for fire, evacuation, medical emergencies, and rescue operations.
• Coordinate with emergency services and relevant authorities when required.
• Documentation & Reporting

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports.

• Maintain records of inspections, audits, permits, training, and incidents.
• Present safety performance metrics to project management and clients.

Education: Any Graduation Degree with 1 to 5 Years experience as a Construction Safety Officer.
