Collection Executive / Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact customers through calls and other approved communication channels to follow up on overdue payments and understand reasons for non-payment.
• Negotiate and communicate suitable repayment plans with customers to maximize recovery.
• Achieve assigned monthly collection and recovery targets while maintaining portfolio quality.
• Follow up consistently on broken payment commitments and ensure promised payments are received within the agreed timeline.
• Handle customer objections, disputes, and payment-related queries professionally and provide appropriate resolutions.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment commitments, follow-ups, and recovery status in the CRM/system.
• Escalate high-risk, disputed, or difficult-to-recover accounts to the appropriate team.
• Ensure all collection activities are carried out in accordance with company policies, applicable regulatory guidelines, and ethical collection practices.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Operations, Customer Support, Legal, and Credit wherever required for account resolution.
