CCTV Technician

We are looking for a CCTV Security & Surveillance Installation & Integration Engineer who can independently install, configure, integrate and—most importantly—troubleshoot complete CCTV security systems.

This is a hands-on technical role. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with technology, visiting customer sites, understanding requirements and finding solutions when systems don’t work.

Key Responsibilities

* Install and configure IP, Wi-Fi, HD and PTZ CCTV cameras.

* Carry out complete CCTV wiring, cabling, termination and testing.

* Install, configure and troubleshoot NVRs and DVRs.

* Configure IP addresses, networking, switches, routers and remote viewing.

* Configure CCTV systems on mobile phones, computers and monitoring systems.

* Troubleshoot camera, NVR/DVR, network, power, cabling and connectivity issues.

* Identify faults systematically and provide practical solutions.

* Perform preventive maintenance and system health checks.

* Visit customer locations to understand their security requirements.

* Conduct basic site/system studies and identify suitable camera locations and solutions.

* Coordinate with the sales and technical team to execute projects properly.

* Work as part of a team during larger installations and projects.

* Explain basic system operation and usage to customers.

* Maintain installation quality, documentation and site discipline.

Qualification

* Degree is NOT mandatory.

* ITI, Diploma, technical training or relevant hands-on experience is an advantage.

* Good communication skills are preferred, but perfect/fluent English is NOT required.

* Ability to communicate with customers in Kannada and basic English is important.

* Must have a valid two-wheeler and driving licence.

Experience

Candidates with experience in CCTV installation, networking, security systems or electrical/electronic installation are preferred.

Freshers can also apply if they have strong technical interest, basic understanding of electronics/networking and, most importantly, the burning desire to learn and build a career.
