Production / Manufacturing Head

We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Production Head to manage and coordinate our bag manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in production, stitching, handling Stitching operator, and coordinating with different teams to ensure that client orders are completed on time and as per the required specifications.

• Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise stitching teams, and production workers.
• Plan and manage production according to client orders, delivery schedules, and priorities.
• Prepare daily and weekly stitching and production priority lists.
• Monitor the complete production process from raw material availability to finished products.
• Coordinate with other teams to arrange raw materials on time.
• Identify raw material shortages and ensure timely placement of orders when materials are unavailable.
• Follow up with the purchase and other relevant teams to ensure that materials are received as per production requirements.
• Ensure that production is carried out according to the required quality, quantity, specifications, and delivery timelines.
• Track the progress of each order and ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate between production, stores, purchase, quality control, and other departments.
• Solve day-to-day production issues and ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain proper control over work-in-progress and finished goods.

• Prepare and maintain weekly production reports showing production completed by each karigar/team.
• Track article-wise and quantity-wise production on a weekly basis.

• Maintain accurate records of production, pending work, rejected/defective pieces, and payable wages.
• Compare planned production with actual production and highlight any shortfalls or delays.
• Weekly Production & Wage Management - Prepare a weekly production report covering Stitching Operator-wise and article-wise production.
• Maintain accurate records of the quantity produced by each Stitching operator or team.
• Calculate wages based on the actual production completed and applicable piece-rate structure.
• Coordinate with the concerned teams to verify production quantities and wage calculations.
• Track pending, rejected, and rework quantities to ensure accurate production and wage records.
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, raw materials, and production capacity.
• Take ownership of production targets and ensure that customer orders are completed on time.
