Jn.Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant to support the finance and accounts department of our garments company. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting entries, purchase and sales documentation, vendor/customer accounts, inventory-related records, bank reconciliation, and assistance with GST/TDS compliance.

• Key ResponsibilitiesRecord daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Prepare and maintain sales invoices, purchase bills, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.
• Maintain cash book, bank book, purchase ledger, sales ledger, and general ledger.
• Verify supplier invoices and supporting documents before processing payments.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Reconcile customer, supplier, and bank accounts regularly.
• Coordinate with the purchase, production, stores, and sales departments for accounting and documentation requirements.
• Assist in monitoring production-related expenses, job-work expenses, and other manufacturing costs.
• Assist senior accountants in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and maintain required supporting documents.
• Perform data entry and maintain accounting records using Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by the Accounts Manager.
• Required SkillsGood knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of Tally Prime/ERP software.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Basic understanding of GST and TDS.
• Knowledge of purchase, sales, inventory, and manufacturing accounting is preferred.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Qualification & ExperienceB.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
• 0–2 years of experience in accounting; experience in a garments, textile, manufacturing, or trading company will be an advantage.
• Freshers with relevant accounting knowledge may also be considered.
