Job PurposeThe Head of QA/QC will take complete ownership of the plant's quality architecture. This strategic yet hands-on leadership role is responsible for establishing, executing, and auditing quality control frameworks from raw material procurement to final container stuffing. The ideal candidate will ensure that our structural hardware and precision components meet all international engineering codes, load-bearing capacities, and anti-corrosion specifications required by global buyers.

• Detailed Responsibilities1. Strategic Quality Management & QMS ComplianceSystem Ownership: Formulate, implement, and upgrade the plant-wide ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS).
• Audit Leadership: Act as the primary management representative for all external, third-party, and international customer audits.
• Global Standardization: Ensure all products strictly conform to American and European engineering standards (such as ASTM, DIN, ISO, ASME, and BS).
• Documentation Control: Oversee the meticulous upkeep of Quality Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Control Plans, and inspection checklists.
• 2. Process Control & Shop-Floor InspectionsInward Quality (IQC): Define inspection benchmarks for incoming raw materials (wire rods, HR/CR steel coils, carbon steel strips) including chemical composition and dimensional compliance.
• In-Process Quality (IPQC): Direct floor quality engineers across sheet metal pressing, cold/hot forging, high-speed thread rolling, and cold roll-forming lines.
• Heat Treatment Monitoring: Oversee metallurgical and heat treatment parameters to guarantee exact metal hardness, tempering, and tensile properties.
• 3. Advanced Metallurgy Lab & Surface Coating VerificationLaboratory Operations: Supervise the metallurgical testing laboratory, ensuring regular calibration of equipment like Tensile Testers, Rockwell/Vickers Hardness Testers, and Profile Projectors.
• Surface Coating Quality: Enforce zero-tolerance checks on surface finishes, ensuring Hot-Dip Galvanizing (HDG) and Electro-Zinc plating meet salt-spray life standards and coating thickness specs.
• Load Validation: Establish destructive and non-destructive load-testing protocols for structural pipe hangers and strut channels.
• 4. Defect Analysis, CAPA, & Continuous ImprovementRoot Cause Analysis: Lead cross-functional engineering teams to resolve floor rejections using Ishikawa (Fishbone) diagrams, 5-Why analysis, and 8D problem-solving methodologies.
• Corrective Actions: Formulate and enforce strict CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) to ensure plant or field failures never repeat.
• Data-Driven Quality: Deploy Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools to monitor process capabilities (Cp/Cpk), isolate defect trends, and aggressively reduce internal scrap rates.
• 5. Vendor Quality & Team LeadershipSupplier Development: Conduct technical quality audits at supplier premises, particularly for raw material mills and external surface-treatment vendors.
• Team Mentorship: Lead, train, and evaluate a robust team of quality engineers, supervisors, and shop-floor inspectors to build a "Quality First" culture.

• Required Candidate Profile & Technical SkillsIndustry Focus: Proven quality leadership background specifically within a fastener manufacturing, heavy stamping, or structural hardware facility.
• Process Knowledge: Deep technical understanding of metal forging, thread rolling, sheet metal stamping, and post-treatment metallurgy.
• Core Quality Toolkit: Mastery of core quality tools including FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), and APQP.
• Instrument Expertise: Practical familiarity with micrometers, vernier calipers, thread gauges, coating thickness gauges, and automated sorting systems.
• Communication & Software: Exceptional professional English communication skills to confidently draft technical reports for global clients. Experience working with ERP systems for quality tracking is highly preferred.
